The founders of the company Carey Faulkner and Melloney Gillham have between them over 35 years’ experience in the hair & beauty industry and wanted to create something unique and extraordinary in their joint business together.

Partners in business and in life they wanted to start a new salon business that was about the experience of the guest creating superior service with beautiful hair and professional recommendation.

We truly love what we do and have a passion for hairdressing and customer services. A business is only as good as it team and we are fortunate to have an incredible talented bunch of passionate hair stylists who represent the brand philosophy of good people, achieving good things in good ways!

B.O.B Salons opened its doors for the very time on January 15th with just 3 employees

It’s now one of the most sought after hair salons in Bracknell and the surrounding area, winning numerous awards along the way and fast becoming the in-destination to have your hair done.

Why B.O.B?

B.O.B is a classic & timeless haircut & style made famous by legendary hairdresser Vidal Sassoon and we want to inherit a classic & timeless business. B.O.B is an abbreviation of a membership scheme called Blow Out Bar to buy bundles of Blow-Outs and B.O.B was the affectionate name of my late father and inspiration behind the company. Robert ‘BOB’ Faulkner who passed away of pancreatic cancer in 2007.

We believe we can make a difference and we have already made numerous changes in our business from using disposable towels, eco shower heads and energy saving lightbulbs. We are selective about ensuring that the products and brands we use are eco-friendly.

Adele Sylvester

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR & EDUCATOR

Adele Sylvester artistry, expert skills and extensive experience make her a very sought after hairdressing artist with a large customer following and celebrity clientele. Adele is truly passionate about her craft and is an award winning stylist and has been Gold Winner for Stylist of the Year at the British Hair & Beauty Awards 2015, 2018 & 2022 She loves sharing her knowledge to others and for the last 10 years have been part of the very successful Paul Mitchell UK artistic & education team helping stylist from all over the UK learn new ideas and techniques. She is a curly hair specialist

Adele always wanted to be a hairdresser as long as she can remember and her works has been seen in magazines, fashion shoots and has worked on the sets of theatre and TV productions.

Jodie Blackman

PRINCIPLE HAIR DESIGNER

Senior Hair Designer ‘Jodie Blackman’ has 14 years hairdressing experience working with Industry renowned Toni & Guy and returning to hairdressing from a short sabbatical bringing up 3 children.

With a passion for hairdressing, easy going attitude and likeable personality, it won’t be long before she will build a large clientele with B.O.B salons. You will be in good hands booking with Jodie.

Callum Gough

HAIR DESIGNER & MASTER BARBER

Callum qualified in 2018 and has taken to hairdressing like a duck to water. A real talent with a great attention to detail. Callum is a great all-rounder but specialises in Men’s grooming and short styles. Gold Winner for Best Barber in the South East -The British Hair & Beauty Awards 2022. He is a budding musician and you will hear him before you see him, whistling the latest beats and tunes around the salon. In 2020 he graduated and passed with flying colours the in-salon ‘Inspire’ education program for promotion and now is becoming a sought after hairstylist and master barber.

Alicia Crosby

GRADUATE STYLIST

Alicia has Recently qualified finishing her end point examination with ease and confidence and is keen to learn from the BOB team the skills to become a great hairdresser. She now needs experience is doing all type of hairstyles and the only way of getting experience is for you to let her do your hair. She gets continuous training from our educators and experienced team members.
